Private Copy Levy (also known as Blank Tape Levy)
The private copy levy compensates authors for the private, in home copying of their works. It is imposed in certain countries on manufacturers and importers of blank tapes, discs, DVDs or equipment used for private copying.
Video Rental Levy
The video rental levy is a royalty imposed on the rental of video cassettes, discs and DVDs for the benefit of authors.
Cable Retransmission Royalties
Cable retransmission royalties are monies paid by cable systems to authors of copyrighted works aired by terrestrial broadcast stations, which are retransmitted by such cable systems to their subscribers.
Public Performance
This is for public performance of audiovisual work on broadcast TV.
Public Lending Rights
It compensates for public use of video cassettes, discs and DVDs.
